Heli Optical Systems offers a solid white glass Opal diffuser material, with a porcelain-like appearance. The diffusing properties of the material is inherent, offering a near perfect or Lambertian “matte” surface which remains consistent regardless of angle of view. Excellent for applications requiring very even diffusion, such as backlighting.
