Meniscus Lens are identified by having one convex surface and one concave surface. Within this, Meniscus lens are categorized as Positive or Negative. Positive Mensicus lens have a thicker center in relation to its edges. They can be used to shorten focal length while increasing the NA of an existing system, and can also minimize spherical aberrations. Negative Meniscus lens have thicker edges compared to its center. They can be used to increase the focal length while decreasing the NA of an existing system, and can also increase the divergence of a beam without introducing spherical aberrations. We are able to customize these to your application requirements. Please contact us for more details.
