It is also angle insensitive and insensitive to polarization These combined characteristics makes it highly suitable for both low and high powered applications, especially multispectral projects. To enhance its durability, HeliOS’ silver front surface mirror has a protective overcoat layer to protect from oxidation. However, care must still be taken to prevent excessive exposure from highly humid environments.
